Oh my gosh oh my gosh, good idea! Me too! I just posted yesterday that I’m about to start doing a read along of How Fascism Works, which I’m halfway through, in large part inspired by your climate books club. I’m going to look into getting a bundle to give away to make it easier for folks to join in. I’ve been building up a silly long list compiled from recs like yours.

I love this idea so much. Full disclosure, I work for Libro.fm, but wanted to add that if you're more of an audiobook person but still want to participate, you can purchase discounted book credits in bulk, and then use them to easily share anti-fascist audiobooks with friends while supporting indie bookstores. https://libro.fm/credits

It Did Happen Here: An Antifascist People’s History (PM Press 2023) is a book and a podcast featuring the story of how a diverse group of activists joined together in Portland Oregon after the racist 1988 murder of Ethiopian immigrant Mulugeta Seraw. Interviews highlight tactics, strategies, and lessons learned. There is an accompanying curriculum co-created with the Oregon Historical Society for which Oregon students can earn high school credit. It’s a skillshare!

This is a GREAT idea. For those with printers, we could also print off copies of free zines and include those! Here is one that is very straightforward and meant to be distributed for free: https://erinfongstudio.com/products/free-digital-download-of-the-fight-fascism-zine
