Everything for Everyone, An Oral History of the New York Commune, 2052–2072 is one of my favorite books I've read recently. Mulling over your prompt to see if I have anything to contribute.
I think a lot about The Light Pirate, which I know some people criticized as fatalistic, but it really captured my attention and further ignited a sense of urgency... and to me, hope that we do still have time to stop the worst of the climate disasters from happening.
Admittedly I read it last summer when it felt like evidence of climate change was all around -- wildfires, super hot temps, big storms, etc, so I might have been swayed by that but I still can't stop thinking about it! Happy to have found your newsletter and also the book club :)

Oooh I haven't heard of this one! The structure looks really interesting. Thank you, Christine!

I’ve been curious about the book Practicing New Worlds by Andrea J Ritchie. Wonder how well it would fit your theme or not.
Oooh checking this out, thanks!
